Went to my doctor’s appointment at Women’s Health. It took me more than an hour to have my turn. Everything seems to be all right. I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the second time. My doctor said it’s good. My BP was 100/70, which is also good. I was asked to book for another scan because they couldn’t get a clear image of the heart and a blood test. So, I went to the Pathology Department of the hospital to do the latter. I don’t really like needles but if it’s for the good of my baby, it doesn’t matter how many blood tests I have to do!!! I have booked for another US as soon as I got back to the office.
I’m due to have it on the 26 October. Hopefully, Russ can come with me then. I wore today for the first time during my pregnancy a navy blue dress paired with a white small tee by Just Sarah courtesy of my loving Mom. I wore this once when I was in HK one summer. It suits me and it makes me move comfortably. I did some more antenatal yoga exercises. Just 20 minutes a day is fine with me. The breathing and relaxation techniques that I’m learning from the DVD would be beneficial during my labour so I must remember them! They help me relax, too after a day’s work.
Well, I had to go to the loo twice last night. I’ll blame our chicken soup dinner! Optimistically, my nocturnal visits to the bathroom would limit itself to one.
Breakfast: porridge with sultanas and raisins Lunch: chicken soupSnacks: grapes, dates scones Dinner: chicken soup
