I was a bit surprised when a friend called me at work first thing in the morning and demand to know if pregnant because I’ve ordered some green mangoes! I told her that I might have ordered some mangoes but to let them ripen. I didn’t crave for green mangoes during my second month since I prefer eating pineapple with salt. On the contrary, it didn’t occur to me to have green mangoes during my second month. Went to my doctor for my appointment. He’s referred me to the hospital’s Women’s Health so they can look after me. I’ve also listened to my baby’s heartbeat. It was like a whooshing sound but it was very comforting to listen to it. Especially now that I’ve been worried after traveling on the other part of the globe in such a very delicate condition and hearing my baby’s heartbeat lets me know that my baby’s alright and that he’s developing and growing. The truth about Lanie has been exposed tonight at dinnertime. My friends had a shock of their life when I told them about my pregnancy. I took me a while to convince them though.
Breakfast: porridge with sultanas and milk Lunch: Pot beef roast and rice Snacks: fresh pineapple/Special K cereals with milk Dinner: fried milk fish, pinakbet, rice with jelly dessert and a bit of green mangoes.
