Mother-to-be? That’s me. I started with my antenatal yoga stretches yesterday after I arrived home from work. I did the exercise for only 15 minutes first. Will do some more later. I kinda like it because the steps are especially designed for pregnant women by a midwife. I’ll be doing the relaxation poses next time.
Aparrently, yoga exercises prepare your body, mind and emotions for labour and childbirth. Hope they really do. I particularly like the exercise for opening up the pelvis. Yoga involved loads of stretching, and it’s impact-free. I don’t want to be sluggish because of my pregnancy. I try to go for a walk during the weekend around the pool aside from my usual work to and fro the office on weekdays.
And no, I’m not into high impact aerobics anymore like what I used to do pre-pregnancy but I don’t want to be sedentary that’s why I still go for walks and yoga stretches to keep me active.
Breakfast: porridge with organic sweet potatoes and sultanas Lunch: pan fried bok choi dumplings with orange juice Snacks: sampaloc, rock melon, avocado Dinner: spring rolls
