Baby Lana&#39;s Born

On February 12, four days after I went on maternity leave at about 10pm when my water broke. There was meconium in the water so we called the hospital and they told me to come in. We arrived before 11pm and talked to the doctor and the midwife about what to do. They think I should be induced so after midnight they put me on a syntocin drip and by 5.17am the next day, my baby was born!

I'm 7 Weeks Pregnant!

I couldn’t believe what my doctor told me! I thought I was just feeling sick the last few days. I’ve been weak and queasy but I didn’t think that it would be because of me being pregnant. I didn’t have any morning sickness so I thought I just have flu of some kind. Dr C told me to have a blood test tomorrow and an ultra sound before I leave for the US. Gee, I’m going to be a mom! Russ was ecstatic when I told him that he’s going to be a daddy! I told my mom on Skype the good news. It was more like of a late birthday present for her since she celebrated her birthday yesterday. Then I called my sister on the phone and sent a text message to my brother who was in school!! Lucky, I didn’t move any boxes when we moved to the new office. Now, I know why my workmate’s aftershave was stinky!
